God is generous and gives with the expectation that what he gives you, you will use. He does not give for you to hide what he gives you.
When you use what God has given you, and invest your time and skills into doing the work of God, what you have is multiplied.
The master in this parable was angry with the servant who was too scared to do anything but bury what the master entrusted him with. The purpose of the master giving him gold was not to hide, but to invest.
If you do not use what God has given you, not only will it not grow into more, but it will be taken away.
What are talents, skills and gifts that God has given you? How have you used them to bring God glory? Is there any skill you are not using that you feel like you should start?

For whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them.
